5 steps to find the zoning for your land.
1- Use internet, type in the google search box the name of your city followed by zoning map (example Palmdale CA zoning map).
2- Open the zoning map (usually in pdf format) and find the location of the land.
3- Look at the color coding of your land area location.
4- Use the color key on the corner of map to see what zoning matches the area of the map you land is located.
5- If your land is located in an unincorporated area Call the Planning, leave a clear message with your land’s APN (Assessor Parcel Number) someone from the planning Dept. will return your call. the county Planning Dept. Phone
